Qualification Criteria

• Demonstrated Leadership: The nominee should clearly display extraordinary leadership qualities that promotes the objectives of our program.
• Innovation/Strategy: Our nominee should showcase innovative strategies and plans that are effective and efficient within their represented state.
• Voluntarism: A key criteria, the nominee should be heavily involved in voluntary services related to drug awareness in their state.
• Impact and Results: The chairperson should have marked significant measurable improvement in their state's drug awareness program implementation.

Procedures for Nomination

• Any member of the Elks Drug Awareness Program can nominate eligible chairpersons.
• Submit an official nomination in the form of a detailed recommendation letter and any supporting documents highlighting the nominee's achievements.

1. Nominations should be submitted to the Drug Awareness Program directors by January 31st of each year.

Selection Process

All received nominations will be carefully review and scrutinized by the directors. The directors will evaluate each nominee based on the provided evidence of achievement. The chairperson with the most impressive demonstrable impact will be granted the award during the annual meeting.
