Red Ribbon

This resource shares the powerful origin of Red Ribbon Week, the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention campaign, created in honor of fallen DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. It encourages youth and communities to commit to a drug-free life through education, public pledges, and awareness events held annually during the last week of October. Distributed by the Elks Drug Awareness Program, it celebrates Kiki’s legacy and promotes proactive prevention nationwide.
