- Grants Documentation: Added State-Level Grant Management section with guidance on how states can manage their internal grant processes, including recommendations for request workflows, evaluation criteria, and equipment tracking
- Website Quality Improvements: Fixed broken links and cleaned up placeholder content
- Corrected “digitial” typo in video links affecting Awkward Conversations and Convention Videos pages
- Updated legacy
/docs/URLs to current site structure in changelog - Fixed Latin placeholder text in page descriptions
- New Content: Added Public Relations guide with tips for media outreach, social media, and community engagement
- Convention Updates:
- Archived 2025 Convention page (Kansas City, MO)
- Created 2026 Convention page with Chicago location and reimbursement policy details
- Removed: Cleaned up empty placeholder pages (reference-material section, DAP Lessons)
- Major Navigation Restructure: Reorganized sidebar for improved content discoverability
- Created new Print Materials Catalog with topic-based organization (Alcohol, Cannabis, Tobacco & Vaping, Opioids, Other Substances, Safety & Prevention, General Resources)
- Individual print material pages (DAP110-DAP445) now accessible via catalog rather than cluttering the main navigation
- Added Grants section to main navigation for better visibility
- Moved Conventions to standalone section (previously nested under Guides)
- Consolidated Contest Winners into a single archive page with all years (2021-2026) in one location
- Overall reduction in top-level navigation items while maintaining full content accessibility
2025 Updates

Section titled “December 23”- Redesigned the Speaker Tour page with improved visual layout using tabs, cards, and step-by-step guides
- Added comprehensive Chairperson Responsibilities section with clear guidance for State Chairs and Lodge Chairs
- Updated speaker booking workflow to reflect the correct process: State Chairs contact speakers directly, submit Speaker Request Form to National Directors for approval
- Added Cost Responsibilities callout clarifying budget coverage: webinars are 100% covered by National DAP; in-person events require states to cover transportation and lodging while National covers speaking fees
- Added speaker contact information: Ray Lozano ([email protected]) and Dr. Heather Talks ([email protected])
- Added link to Speaker Request Forms in the booking workflow
August 24
Section titled “August 24”- Updated the date for 2025 on the latest Enrique S. Camarena Form.
August 9
Section titled “August 9”- Contest Forms have been updated to include an instructions page with mailing details, and now feature the Parental Consent form within the same PDF. While standalone Parental Consent forms remain available if needed, most entries will only require a single PDF instead of two.
August 5-7
Section titled “August 5-7”- Updated Printed Literature
- Refreshed Contest Forms and updated the Contest Theme for the new year
- All DEA USB resources (English & Spanish) are now organized on one streamlined page, making it simple to browse and download either the full collection or individual files. Explore the updated resources here.
July 25

- Added Trailer wrap example - we still need original artwork - please share with us!

- NOTICE: We will be changing version numbers on all forms and assets starting in 2025 to an incremental # versioning system (increment#) rather than “year.increment#” to make it clearer to track changes and prevent confusion.
